Fellows just stop debating over this ****. Prayers go out to the entire Frazier family and hopefully the city honors him. Hopefully plenty of boxers/promoters help the family out in their trying time. I am out of this thread!

This was a praise Mayweather thread. Denying it would be like IntentionalButt claiming his RBR thread is for the purpose of him improving his typing skills and not for the purpose to give a round by round description of a fight.

I don't see what the problem with this is. I'm sure Frazier's family will be very thankful of Mayweather's services.

Hopefully when Mayweather gets to this point, another boxer will return the favor if necessary.

 What the ****??? Of course this was a PR move; it's not my fault the Pretty One's fans can't discern a crass and SELF-PROMOTING action. If he was honestly doing this for Joe and his family he didn't have to make it public. Why can't you see that??? If in the course of the funeral the Fraziers wanted to publically thank Mayweather for his help; THEN THAT'S ANOTHER STORY.:-( Mayweather words and actions have proved it's ALL about HIM... :nono:smoke

You know exactly what I'm talking about. You're just too ignorant and naive to see it clearly.

If Floyd held a press conference hours later, and announced he was saddened by the death of Joe Frazier, and said the "Money Team" was going to pay for the funeral, would that be a bad move as well?

Personally I wouldnt give a care. Somebody just died, and I'm sure the family is relieved to have that burden off their shoulders. People really argue about the wrong stuff. Life is too short.

I never met the man, but I know that as a kid reading how Joe offered to help Ali financially when he was banned from boxing in Ali's autobiography "The Greatest", made me respect Frazier to the utmost.

RIP Joe. Thanks for the memories.

It would be fitting if it was Ali paying the funeral, either way a very nice gesture of Mayweather and nothing but praise for it though, boxers always pay respect when atg's pass away.
