Nice gesture by Floyd. Announcing it so publicly makes it seem more opportunistic that altruistic but what difference does it make.

Way to go Oprah and publicly announce it. Total self-promotion and lack of class.

If you want to contribute out of your millions, do it discreetly without announcing it on your Twitter account.

Really can you post a link to him saying that Joe and his family "can't afford to cover the funeral costs"...I'll wait, oh what was that, you were just making that **** up...in an attempt to make a ridiculous point seem more credible. Cool, that's what I thought you were doing, no big deal, as long as it's acknowledged.

Ali announced it publicly..does that make it seem more "opportunistic" too?

no he's not butt hurt *******, it's a bad week for yall hey?

their families go way back, this is not some out of the blue thing, he's helping family friends and probably was aware they were in financial trouble and couldn't afford Joe the champions funeral he deserves. Anyone that has a problem with this is a piece of **** human. Would yall rather Joe's poor family break themselves giving Joe a less than stellar funeral service?

Remember last summer Floyd paid for Genaro Hernandez's funeral and did not publicize it in the slightest, the leak came from Dan Rafael if I remember correctly and even then Floyd got criticism.... you realize mayweather regularly donates anonymously....dumb ass ******* with an agenda

Of course the 'tards will come out of the woodwork and trash Floyd here, call him classless, etc.

Bottom line is, it's a classy move and a great tribute of respect towards the late Joe Frazier. Who gives a **** if he tweeted it.

My man, I've yet to hear a logical answer for this...I've been trying to figure that one out every since I read through this thread.

More of so called men nitpicking at things to argue about! Sad and Pathetic IMO.:verysad
