On March 22, 2007, a congressional inquiry into the safety of erythropoeitic growth factors was reported in the news media. Manufacturers were asked to suspend drug rebate programs for physicians and to also suspend marketing the drugs to patients.
Several publications and FDA communications have increased the level of concern related to adverse effects of ESA therapy in selected groups. In a revised Black Box Warning, the FDA notes significant risks associated with ESA use. ESAs should be used only in patients with cancer when treating anemia specifically caused by chemotherapy, and not for other causes of anemia. Further, it states that ESAs should be discontinued once the patient's chemotherapy course has been completed

please update your info .. try reading the entire wiki you dummy not just the part that backs your argument ..

No ,, even the blackest of black list have problem getting this drug and if you do find it, its so expensive its not worth the risk.. This drug has really been blacked balled, you may be able to find someone on a discussion board who may have some but good luck getting them to talk about it or even sell it to you..

.Come on man, for **** sake. Dont be so naive.

Anything that makes money will get made, regardless of legality. If you have the money and want EPO or a drug that produces the same benefits the you can get it. And youll get a version that doesn't show up on tests. That's where the money is so that's how it works. We're not talking about people supplying this drug to goons down the local gym, we're talking about supplying it to high level athletes who demand absolute confidentiality and are willing to pay a premium for it.

The US government has spent billions of dollars in a war on drugs, and you can still get any drug you like in any town in the country. You think EPO has suddenly been deleted off the face of the earth because it's on a banned list?

Some crooked doctor who could make millions of dollars providing his clients with EPO is suddenly going to stop because it's been blacklisted? Does he ****. He just charges even more.

yes EPO is on that level, the FBI would defiantly raid your home if they though you were purchasing or selling this drug.

No pro athlete of pac caliber would be stupid enough to buy this drug from anyone, the risk to himself, his rep is too great. True there are other drug out there that could do the same thing as EPO..

What? Athletes wouldn't risk their reputation buying this stuff? That's exactly what they do!

Yes, the FBI would Raid any place or person suspecting of making or shipping huge amounts of ANY drug into the country. But the fact is they can't stop it. If the 30 years have taught us anything it's that the war on drugs does not work. It doesn't matter of those drugs are recreational or performance enhancing
