I don't think any of the super heavies should be favoured to get it done-he was the best of them. I put Holmes in 51-49/100. But, allow me to pull a MRBILL and readily admit that I'm a Holmes "jock sniffer" as he'd put it. I don't know how many I'd straight favour but there are plenty that have good chances, including prime versions of two guys he beat.

    Tyson
    Louis
    Foreman
    Dempsey
    Holmes
    Frazier
    Holyfield
    Johnson

these men are even money or slight favorites over Lewis in my book.

Holmes and Louis are both pick 'em fights against a prime motivated Lewis, in a 3 fight series both beat him at least once. Apart from that I would favour him over anyone else not named Ali.

Tyson and Foreman both have a punchers chance, and would be live underdogs. And I think Frazier might also gives him some problems.

Lots of 50.50 type fights here again. He was one of the very best at his best, I think. Apart from Ali, the only fighter I'd make a slight favourite would be Liston.

Holmes, joe louis, 1987 mike tyson for certain. marciano, jack dempsey would be 50-50 maybe even 1970 joe frazier, 1990 buster douglas, ezzard charles, sonny liston joe walcott would also have a shot at beating lennox lewis. ray mercer was no ATG and neither were mccall and rahman.

It's a very short list. Tyson/Holyfield/Holmes have the best chances. Foreman is too crude - Lennox lands first and KOs him. No one under 200lbs - Marciano/Dempsey are getting bullied and KO'd, Louis is too easy to hit and Lennox is the better outboxer and stronger/bigger, Liston is too slow and not as strong/fast/big, Wlad would crumble, Vitali he beat, Bowe he beat, Frazier doesn't have the defence for a puncher like Lennox and Lennox is quicker outside, I can't see what Johnson can do

he is one of the best of the S-HWs no doubt, but who beats him?

well I agree with choklab here, but I will add quite matter-of-fact that..

ANY True ATG and True Top 10 fighter from the best HW periods and in the long history of boxing, can and would beat him!!!
