bunce...an embarrassment

    i know this will probably go down like the proverbial lead balloon on here,but how bunce remains employed as a broadcaster just beats me.i watched his appalling show on boxnation last night thru my fingers-it was just so embarrassing and cringeworthy.i applaud his enthusiasm and love of the sport,but that in itself doesn't make him up to the job.he is so amateurish in his delivery,it's a shame they don't utilise the services of someone with equal knowledge but with just a modicum of professionalism to make this show little more than a laughing stock.his 'interview' with crolla was just pitiful.couldn't they get someone like an ian darke or bbc's mike costello to bring a touch of class to the proceedings.listening to bunce's inane screaming and yelping will surely have most punters reaching for the remote control within minutes of the programme's start...

    Mate you are entitled to your opinion like the rest of us, but I disagree with you 100%. He is a charismatic character, has an opinion and doesnt fanny about with expressing it, plus he knows his onions.

    The reason why, i like watching the Steve Bunce. Is because its like, listening to a conversation that you would have in the pub, or just anywhere with fellow boxing fans. Its Uncut, raw, and passionate. If i was on the show, i would speak exactly the same and put my views across as i do on here.

    Steve Bunce is going to tell you how it is..? Or how he thinks it is..? and thats a good thing. I was very pissed off when he slagged Chad Dawson off slightly after the Bernard Hopkins, but he was just stating his opinion.

    So it was all good!

    bunce has zero charisma;is far too opinionated,and talks down to everyone around him,as though everyone thinks he's the star of the show and what they think counts for ****.reg and harry would turn in their graves if they heard the way he carries on.surely there must be someone better qualified to host a boxing show than this buffoon?where's claud at these days?

    richie woodhall was a decent fighter,but another lousy broadcaster.same goes for duke mckenzie.nice fellas,but not up to the job imo...

    This has been done to death. Bunce is visually grotesque, very irritating, and talks complete and utter bollocks. Complete clown and terrible journalist & pundit. Paired up with that other absolute plonker Richie Woodhall makes for literally unbearable viewing/listening.

    If you want a polite conversation about the sport Ringside is always there.

    Bunce brings passion and knowledge, something I admire and enjoy watching, I can have a laugh watching his show, which for all its qualities I cannot with Ringside.

    Matter of opinion, but I think he's good for the sport, and, dare I say it, good viewing!

    Charisma is hanging out of the man! He is not your cup of tea and there are others like you - but did you see the BringbackBunce campaign a couple of years ago - who else in the sport could command that level of support? I will be registering for Buncenation at the end of the month:good

    you dont like buncey, i love his passion and sends himself up, you dont like richie, i enjoy his delivery,i think he does a great job.
