Yeah. except he beat up Anderson for 4 and a half rounds and beat Brian Stann, not Chris Leben who actually lost to Brian Stann, and is a much more interesting character than Munoz.

As much as I dislike Fael, he was soundly beating Anderson before the sub. It's also a fight that most fans are interested in seeing. If it hadn't been for Sonnen's legal problems and the fact that he failed the post-fight physical, the rematch would have already happened.

 

Chael lost
He quit
He gave up
He no longer wanted to fight
AND THEN HE PISSED DIRTY
He should be at the back of the line

 

Absolutely. The only way you should get an rematch that soon is if you beat the #1 contender. Stann is slightly better than journeyman.

 

Stann is far better than a journeyman, but he lacks the ground game needed to take on an elite wrestler. He has the striking ability to compete with the better strikers in the game. Not quite Anderson Silva level striking, but there aren't a lot of guys who can match him toe to toe standup.

Munoz is right, but whatever. Silva will beat Sonnenn one way or the other in their rematch.

besides if sonnen beat anderson then what?? he loses by triangle in his next 1 or 2 fights and leaves the division in a total mess..

I kinda see why Anderson is pissed at Mark Munoz now if they ever fight i see him ****ing Munoz up like he did with Belfort he takes this **** serious

And for the record, based on the available evidence, Chael Sonnen is one of the few guys who can hang with Anderson in the standup. In fact Sonnen got the better of Anderson on their feet last time around, before he took him down at will and started beating his ass on the ground. :good

Will he? In the last fight, Anderson dominated for about eight seconds, when a tired Chael was still pressing the action when he should have been running out the clock. Chael dominated for better than twenty minutes. :good

The fighters in the UFC should know by now that deserves got nothing to do with it. People want to see a rematch with Sonnen, so it'll happen. People want to see Diaz/GSP so maybe another time Condit. We as fans usually get the best matchups, but the fighters sometimes get screwed.
