Cal Slappy would get owned, 3 years is alot of time, Ring Rust/Father time takes its toll, I don't care how great you are or were.

In all honesty Calzaghe wasnt going for the knockout against jones, he seemed content to taking a paycheque and crusiing to a W

I think his dad's doing more work on the mitts than he is. Cal should keep his fists away from people, those brutal 2 inch slaps might accidentally murder someone.

They don't call him Slappy White for nothing.

Sounds like that Coke is taking it's usual predictable toll on his purse, and he's beginning to think about a possible come back.
It's only a matter of time before this slap happy fraud comes back for a beatdown. :yep

He could fight any super middle and have no warm up fight and still win easy the mans class

Thing is, anyone who hits pads in a gym knows the difference in sound between a punch that hits hard and a punch that doesn't - Joe's "slaps" have always had a lot of snap in them, he doesn't put much weight behind them and I've always thought that's why he tears so many cuts in his opponents, his punches are hard and fast but tend to shift across the skin rather than pound into the bone.

The sound on those pads wasn't that of a weak puncher, despite his unorthodox style. He had enough power to stop people walking through him ala Malignaggi or someone else like that.

He doesnt have it anymore. He looks terrible on the pads. He's average speed now and he's got bad balance.

Calzaghe has good hand speed when he slaps. When he throws real punches his hand speed isn't anything out of the ordinary.
