how is vitali klitschko the greatest heavyweight in the history of boxing? it cant be resume, so what is it? imagined matchups against previous all time great heavyweights? I dont get it

 

vitali isn't even the greatest klitschko in history. his brother has out-achieved him spectacularly.

Who has either Klit ever beat?

 

Most even great fighters have a couple losses, Lewis lost a couple himself. Lewis was 250 pounds on a few occasions before fighting Vitali. Lewis was as exsperienced as ever and people reach thier maximum bone and muscle mass at about 40. So I don't buy into that Lewis was as bad that night as some think.

I have watched the Lewis vs Ruddock fights and about all his other fights. Lewis lost in his prime to lesser fighters then himself. Vitali lost to Lewis and Lewis is a lot better then Rahman or Mccall. Only difference was Vitali did not get a rematch.

 

George Chuvalo was a better fighter than Vitali. Quite easily, too. Chuvalo didn't have an outstanding dominant record because of his opposition but he'd beat every fighter Vitali has beaten, without a shadow of doubt. Vitali would also lose to the guys prime Chuvalo lost to but, unlike Chuvalo, he'd get knocked out.

 

you must be kidding us all, lewis was overweight and undertrained for the klitschko fight, admittedly so and clearly as well. he was too busy filming ocean's eleven

 

Nope I am not kidding Lewis was over and very close to 250 pounds in quite a few fights. And few pounds is a pretty small percent of his weight. And I am not kidding about bone and muscle mass peaking at 40.
