:deal This Like others have said Bunce is back for a reason. I never missed one of his Setanta broadcasts and i wont miss one on BN. Steve Bunce is the most carismatic, enthusiastic and entertaining pundits there is in boxing, from one end of the world to the other. P.S. I met Steve in Dublin Ireland one night at a fight and he was, friendly, funnny and grateful to his fans. Like everything Steve shows in the Bunce boxing hour, its all real steve and thats why me and so many other fans love him :good
like woodhall and bunce. its a common thing for all fans of all different sports to hat any of the commentary/presentation team.
Get the Marmite out. On the show, which is different from the Setanta show, I try and get as many names and tales out there as possible. I had eight different voices in the hour and mentioned another 100 fighters. Billy Aird got a mention and some geezer running a boxing club in Torquay got a plug! Ricky Hatton talked about Pacman and Bradley Skeete praised Johnny Greaves! A two-week old baby called Ava made an appearance and we ended with a heart-stopping clip of Joe Frazier shadowboxing in his gym. What do you want for your 2 and half quid each week!!! Adios.
I Like Buncey, It was him and the Setanta boxing hour that got me back into boxing after a few baron years of not watching, He is opinionated and sometimes gets it wrong and I don't always agree with him but I always listen. I can't say the same for some other pundits, Jonny ''Brokeback'' Nelson instantly springs to mind.
None better in England than Bunce.... FACT Nobody's perfect, but I would like you to name someone better!
I think Bunce turned him down for the Ringcard boy job. On that subject they need that guy off the pot noodle advert who married the footballer.
Apart from his man-love towards Haye, which is probably all in the past now I think he's spot on. Plus, the boxing hour wipes the floor with Ringside, which started off pretty well but has quickly become mundane. And those looks that Adam Smith gives Johnny Nelson..... :-( Like birds pouting for photos on student night....
