kat and burns result

I missed Eversen fight. I saw the Laryea and Cook fight while it lasted. For mine, the analysis is that Burns would carry the weight better and that Mick had been in a number of wars.

 

I got it wrong and to be honest i have watched Burns's last half a dozen fights and couldnt believe how ordinary he looked right before he fought Martinez for the world title and then put on an impressive display to win the title. He exceeded my expectations with the Katsidis fight and moving up in weight.

 

Ippy like Kagsy I didn't think Burnsy could carry weight up and keep his ability to counter with the same effect v Mick mate if I'm being totally honest here , add that to Mick having a relatively easy outing last time (rested ) v Lozada brought me to the conclusion that Mick would stop him around the 9th round mark , can't say I was gutted at being proved wrong here either , I love Katsids mate and was sorry to see him lose but on the other hand it was great to see Ricjy & Billy get their just rewards after the time they both put into their training pre fight , Ricky sparring Curtis etc was a master stroke that reaped it's rewards big time , like I said earlier I hope Mick can come back , I respect Brendon as a trainer he has brought Mick a long way but if Mick can prolong his career safely by making the switch I hope he makes the change as he is a fighter whom I reckon still has a lot to offer the sport .

 

It think the fight shows just how much making weight was taking out of the fighting pride of Coatbridge... If Mick can get a few wins under the belt, I'm sure a rematch would be an option.

 

Ricky post fight said it was killing him making weight in the past but I was shocked how well he went especially in the later rounds , fantastic counter punching won it by three rounds on my score card , Mick was throwing some serious ****ing leather for most of the fight but as my Mrs was jumping up and down throwing jabs out wincing and shouting I was shouting for her to "Sit the he'll down & stfu they are hitting Rick on the arms" , great little fight though ( Rick & Mick not me and da Mrs )

 

Ha ha nice one. Yeah I think 3 points is about right too.

 

Serious Ipp my lad came running downstairs fists to the ready thinking someone had come to our door with bad intentions , he just looked at us both standing mid duck trowing at the telly , shook his head muttered something about growing the **** up and returned back upstairs , lmao

 

Hahahaha mint. Loving it!!

 

When she eventually calmed down after the final bell she saw how dejected Mick looked and said to me "oh love , look at him he's only a boy love him " She had broke from 140 to zero in less than six seconds :nut

 

So its no just me annoyed by an interrupting missus during a fight. :good

 

I had Burns winning fairly easy in a fight I thought Kats would take by KO. Kats really needs to stay away from the boxers & fight the brawlers. He's always got a punchers chance.

My missus does a couple of real annoying one's.

"What heppens is both guys knock each other out, who wins?"

"why is he jumping around celebrating when the other guy is obviously hurt on the ground?" ext ect.

I just laugh at most comments, the worst was getting the missus into Rugby league, i think i missed about 4 Radiers games just explaning the rules to her :-(
