Molina was able to cleanly land to the body and ocassionally upstairs, my main point in that is that he was able to get inside and in range to land, that would be a problem for Lara against Kirkland, because if Kirkland lands, to body or head, there is a high potential it is a quick night for Lara, especially after seeing how bad Brewer had him hurt.

Lara will have to be on his A game and so will Kirkland and it would be a great fight. I believe Lara would be highly favored, but it isn't like Kirkland doesn't have a shot.

the good thing about the Internet is that you can find all kind of ****.. here is the 4th round and yes he got caught by a right hand and remember this was his 9 or 10 fight, but he respond it very well and from there on he just dominated a good gate keeper known to take "0" off prospects, Kirkland got ***** slapped by a feather fisted Ishida and you are telling me that he will steamroll over Lara... the fight is coming and I'll bet an avatar with you or whatever else we could bet....

No one is saying Lara couldn't beat the Kirkland who showed up against Ishida, the question is can Lara beat the Kirkland who showed up against Angulo, who had a better chin, better defense, better shot selection than he ever demonstrated before and excellent stamina, toughness, and heart.

If Lara catches a flush right from Kirkland he is gone.

The Kirkland that show up at the Angulo's fight is the same that show up in all his fights, if he fights Lara he will remember his time in prison, not I was joking, he will get ****....

Its obviously not the same one who showed up at the Ishida fight. He had way better punch resistance in the Angulo fight than the Ishida fight, most likely due to not having to drop a great deal of weight.

Kirkland will get KO, Angulo was just spend by third minute of the fight and couldn't finish him off, he is just a crude brawler that will have in any of his fight a punchers chance... that is all, he will get schooled against any good technical fighter and if the technical fighter happens to have some pop he will not finish the fight standing, just because he put a hurt on Angulo (another crude brawler without any conditioning whatsoever) it doesn't meant that he will do that to a pure boxer

If he improves his chin you are talking about Sugar Ray Robinson..

kirkland was the same against ishida and angulo, the difference were his opponents, while ishida didnt waste himself trying to murder JK like angulo did, as a matter of fact angulo dropped-like ishida did-JM early in the round.
A very poor conditioned angulo gassed himself out in 2 minutes, he didnt-like ishida-take his time to hit an injured target.I give all my credit to JK for surviving the pressure of those 2 minutes and come back strong to reverse the course of the fight.
the only improvement that wolf brought to JK was his conditioning because he lacks every fundamentals from the books and he showed he is easy to hit.
Kirkland always gonna be dangerous because he is a monster in terms of aggressiveness and power -i remember talking to erosomole albert after the fight, he said never been hit so hard-but Ishida showed his weak side and a technichian as Lara( with decent power)will take advantage of every inch of it.

Ishida took James down with a jab, not a power punch, a jab and he was done. Angulo caught James flush with a solid right down the middle and James weathered the storm by rolling with punches and took heavy body shots and head shots to turn the fight around that round.

You are blantantly lying in saying James was the same against Angulo as he was against Ishida.

BRO!!! I said "prospect killer," not prospect. And yes, I am fully aware of what Brewer can do when he is injury free and had a decent training camp instead of taking a fight on short notice.

You're being pretty selective about addressing the Lara/Brewer fight. I said clearly that Grady suffered a torn rotator cuff in the same round he hurt Lara in. He had surgery immediately after the fight and was on the shelf for 16 months. Without the injury Brewer probably would have stopped Lara in the 5th or 6th round.

I can't understand why so many fans are swingin' off Lara's nut sack. His resume is shitty, and he looks like a KO, or at least a serious ass whoopin' waiting to happen. I fully expect him to lose again as soon as he faces another world class fighter. (And no, he did not get jobbed out to Williams.)
