Ciani from '' ON THE ROPES '' .... He interviews boxing people. He had Bute invited twice on the show.

I think you need to re-tune your sarcasm radar.

hope they will have a chance to unify their belts and show who is a real champion ... no matter who will end up on the top.

Froch is a warrior no doubt not sure he destroys Bute though.

Ward would box Bute to death I think he's to skilled to lose to Bute.

If it was sarcasm, my point stands.

A journalist have a ethic code to abide and if you dont, you loose credibility. If an anchorman was saying publicly that he stands for the democrates or the republicans he will loose his job.

It was a friendly advice, you have two hats, one the journalist and the other a boxing fans. Unfortunately you cannot be both at the same time. Your suppose to appear non bias at all time as a journalist, but you got your right to your opinions and your feelings.

So I stand it, just make an alt, it will only be for the best.

Hey Rummy! I agree that Froch has faced stiffer competition and is thus more "battle tested."

The same, however, could be said of Glen Johnson. Did he not face tougher compeition than Bute as well? And what happened?? Moreover, I think it's beyond dispute that Bute handled Johnson with far more ease than Froch did.

In what respect is Ward "far more versatile?"

And yet he had his hands full with Bika. :-(

Don't misunderstand, I like Ward and believe it'd be a pick-em fight against Bute.

I am just tired of hearing this "Ward/Froch would destroy him" nonsense.

Except stepping up to fight real opponents.
Heard his camp is trying to coax SRL out of retirement for Bute's toughest match yet. :rofl

I see Ward beating anyone in the division - but Froch and Bute would be an interesting fight. Nice rebuilding fight for the two after they lose to Andre Ward.

How about his last opponent? And whom did that last opponent face recently and fare much better against??

I think you see where this is going..... :rofl

    But keep trying, slick.

    Johnson?
    You can't be serious.
Johnson is at the tail end of his career.
Facing Johnson is no path for Bute to quiet his naysayers.
Comparing Froch's performance against Johnson's to Bute's, or Ward's performance against Bika to Bute's is just as irrelevant.
