    You probably won't. Louis' handlers wanted him to have nothing to do with Johnson. A photo of Louis with Johnson would have stopped his career in its tracks.

    Actually have not seen any photos of Jack Johnson with any of the followig champs except that large group photo or two ... never him and Willard, Dempsey. Tunney, Schmeling, Sharkey, Carnera, Baer , Braddock or Louis ..

    Yes this is from "The Prizefighter And The Lady ". Jim Jeffries is near Jack Dempsey...

    In this video clip Jack Johnson vs Joe Louis from 0:10 - 0:20 the narration tells of Johnson meeting with Louis, and the film shows Louis talking with another man. Hard to say if it's Johnson or Blackburn.

    There is a photo of Johnson and Willard standing together many years later. Johnson is wearing a beret and Willard looks a bit greying. If I can find it, I'll post it....

    I think Marciano was always overbilled in height. He was probably closer to 5'9" than he was to 5'11".

    This is an excellent thread. Looking at these photos, Tunney is one hell of a lot bigger than i thought. Dempsey seems to be also.

    Yes Der Mox certainly resembled the younger Jak Dempsey. Schmeling in his biography published in Germany mentioned all the great fighters he had seen,and then said "then there was Jack Dempsey who I place in a special category beyond them all". Schmeling sparred with Dempsey in Germany
    probably when this photo was taken...Schmeling "knows somezing ":good
