Hector Thompson absolute World Class with one of the Biggest punches I have ever seen, unfortunately the death of 2 of his opponents in the ring seemed to affect him and stop him reaching his full potential, all Class Hector and in my Top 10 for sure.!!!!

Perhaps, but from what i have read about Les it leads me to believe he would have been one of the greats, But we will never know. i do know Jack Dempsey wrapped him and said he would have destroyed Willard too.

Also, Peter Jackson would be behind Griffo, if imports rated.
On my list from 2008, Thompson is # 12 behind Mundine # 11.

i wouldnt argue with that, many of his peers claimed Griffo was the most clever boxer from that era. Fleischer claimed he would have been a 4 division champ if he had stayed on the straight and narrow. From memory his manager, at one time was even trying to set up a four or six round bout with then HW champion Corbett, so confident he was in Griffo's natural abilities.

So an undefeated Judah wassent considered best in LightWelter at the time?

Who did Hatton beat besides a shot to **** Tszyu

Phillips win over KT was not near as embarrasing as either of Vicky Fattons KO's :happy

no shame in losing to arguably 2 of the top 20 fighters that ever lived.
quitting on your stool against hatton and getting trounced by a second tier fighter however is bad.jab judah was exposed in that fight and has been consistently ever since by the likes of baldomir lol.tszyu wasnt shot to **** when he fought hatton he hadnt lost in 8 years and was coming off a 3rd round ko of mitchell, just lost to a better man.
im glad i prefer the english to russians anyday

tszyu will go down in the annals of boxing history much higher than hatton madmanc. And that is all there is to it.

on what grounds ?? 1 weight world champion with 2 losses one of which to hatton.
hatton 2 losses both of which to p4p best fighter on the planet and arguably top 20 atg hmmmm dont think so.

interestingly i noticed tszyu's middle initial was b,i just checked it out thinking obviously it would be bruce or blake or something but it is infact that good old aussie name BORISOVICH

he unified a division ffs , and when you take into account his amateur background he is far superior to hatton, your argument is like stating that tarver will go down as a better regarded boxer than roy jones because he beat him. Imbecile. And australia is a nation made up of all mixed ethnicities, kostya is fortunate to call both russia and australia home, and we are glad to call him an australian
