Obviously, "exposed" is the wrong word to use here. But, Bradley's analysis was quite good. I just don't think he's the one to carry out that plan. Bradley gets wild at times, and is willing to get into a shoot out. He does not have any particular physical or skill advantage over Pac, that I can see (aside from that head...that might be a close one too though in terms of size).

Look at the mosley fight. When mosley got on his bike did you see all the lunging manny was doing and how off balance he was? Now if you have a boxing eye i know you saw all the oppurtunities mosely had to counter. I saw it and thats the floyd fight right there. it is going to be boring but all he has to do is step back like mosley and just throw the right. manny will be there. Sorry but manny does not know how to cut off the ring. I dont buy into excuses as to why he couldnt get shane out of there. He had a guy in there looking just to survive who was throwing nothing but he couldnt force the stoppage because he didnt know how. Shane wasnt doing anything special. Just taking a step back or to the left. If he cant solve that problem then there is no way he is beating floyd. I love watching manny fight and i dont think floyd is unbeatable but i just dont think manny is the guy to do it. I give sergio a better chance.

I get what you are trying to say but if you have to go all the way back to the castillo fight for hope then i would say that logic is flawed. I will explain.

You looking at the castillo fight is like me looking at the torrecampo fight and saying floyd just has to hit him in the body and the fight is over. The point im making is that fighters improve. I havent seen manny stopped by body shots nor have i seen floyd have problems with pressure fighters in a while. so are fights from that long ago really a good gauge. The saying goes , "you are only as good as your last fight" and imo manny looked bad in his last fight even in a win. He looked just as bad as donaire looked a few weeks ago and just as bad as sergio looked against barker. The pac that fought shane does not beat the floyd that fought ortiz.

Floyd couldn't force a stoppage against Shane neither.

    No doubt

-but were they fighting the same version of shane ( the shane floyd fought just came off a huge win and a year of people telling him he is the best welterweight in the world- in other words he was confident and thought he had a chance to win and he fought that way)

-You know the version of shane manny fought so we dont need to go there. Sorry but that version should not have been allowed to go 12.

    - If shane was in there just trying to survive against floyd he would of got stopped. hell he was trying to fight back and he was about to get stopped.

basically you are trying to look past the point. manny was in with a dead man and he didnt know how to get to him.
Floyd was able to catch and hit a better version of shane at will.

His chin is questionable. How many welters has Mosley stunned with JUST TWO PUNCHES? He's a good puncher but was never a one punch artist at welterweight. Margarito took 200+ of those flush right hands and Cotto took his share also.

Not too far off. Manny fought Shane 12 months after Floyd. Floyd fought Shane 17 months after Shane fought Margarito. Shane was inactive and went throught two training camps so that isn't the best example.

we can say that they both fought a past his best shane if that will make you feel better. but that doesnt change the point i was making. If you cant catch up to a walking deadman you are not catching floyd.

Like i said earlier, if this fight was signed tomorrow floyd would be the fav. But does that make sense. How can the p4p #1 fighter be the underdog to a guy that fights in his own divison? I can tell you why. Because the only people that think manny can win are his hardcore fans and hardcore floyd haters. Noboby actively working in the boxing community believes that. That is why i think Bob arum is the best promoter ever. He was able to convince a lot of fans that manny can actually compete.

I don't think it would be an easy fight for Pacquiao and the longer Pacquiao waits to fight Bradley the harder the fight will be. Right now I have Pacquiao winning the fight because prime for prime Pacquiao is the better fighter but the moment Pacquiao starts showing his age he's going to be the guy to lose a fight like this.

Pacquiao does not have the most technical skills and relies a lot on athleticism similar to Roy Jones Jr. Bradley does have a lot of technical skills and is a great counter puncher. Stylewise it's a fight that Bradley is likely to win if the fight doesn't happen soon.

But if it happens early 2012 assuming Pacquiao cannot get Mayweather then I see Pacquiao winning a tough 12 round decision based on his superior physical abilities.

How can you see he doesn't have the chin? He does lack punching power but you aren't going to beat Pacquiao on punching power. Floyd doesn't have punching power. Bradley does have technical skills and chin and that goes a long way.

If it were so easy then why hasn't anyone seriously hurt Bradley in a fight? When has Bradley even been close to being knocked out? Pacquiao is more likely to be knocked out.

I must have missed where Mayweather got KO-ed. *in Kevin Hart voice* alright, alright, alriiight...

Cotto got hurt in the 9th and 10th rds of that fight with Mosley. Margarito's chin is outstanding, and still bit the canvas. Margarito also weighs a helluva lot more than Floyd when he fights. Shane has fought at jr. middleweight, was the hardest puncher at welterweight when they fought and didnt knock the guy out. Give him some semblance of credit.

Wasn't Roy Jones the underdog to James Toney? As a matter of fact, I think Mayweather was the underdog to Corales even though he was #1 in the division. I could be wrong.

I think the Bradley vs Pacquiao fight would look like Hopkins vs Calzaghe.
