He beats both, the guy not only had a big size advantage over both, he's just as skilled as them, if not more.

You realise Duran was a Lightweight naturally, right? That he reigned there for a decade in his actual prime? That he was 12 years into his 70 fight career (at the time) and 12 pounds above his best weight when he beat one of the best Welterweights of all time in Leonard? That he was 15 years into his career and 25 pounds over his best weight when he held his own with one of the best Middleweights of all time in Hagler? That he was 25 years into a career spanning 4 decades, over 100 fights and over 50 pounds when he faced Pazienza?

Duran was the single best fighter of the 70's, and arguably the best Lightweight of all time. The fact that he was even fighting (much less able to hold his own) with the likes of Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Benitez, etc. when past his prime, well above his best weight, and so often lacking in the discipline/desire that made him such a great fighter in his prime, is remarkable.

He beats both but no one ever dominates Floyd. Floyd would make it a close fight.

My heart says he could spark both. He would spark Pac.

I can see FMJ POSSIBLY beating him if FMJ was naturally larger. FMS was giving him a hell of a time for a last minute fight and being in all types of crap outside the ring. So Maybe a SD, win/loss for Mayweather.

However if Mayweather EVER got buckled the way he has recently? Curtains. SRL was one of the best finishers in the game.

Thats the way I seen it as well, Leonard beat Benitez decisively, he actually outboxed Benitez which is not an easy thing to do & then stopped him which might be an even harder thing to do.

Athletes in all sports across the board have improved over the years, and are better now than they ever were in the past.

    Boxing is no exception.

Well it's a question of opinion but Maradonna was in front of Pele for the player of the century and other rankings. Pele played before Maradonna so even if it's true(that Pele is better)it proves my theory hahaha

The fact that Leonard found Benitez one of his most difficult opponents does not mean he never dominated Benitez, from a chessmatch point & as a test of his boxing brain & technical ability it probably was one of his toughest fights but he won 80-90% of the rds vs Benitez, was never hurt & hurt Benitez a few times, even stopping him late.

    Leonard won this fight clearly.
