    Your post reeks of bias. Slapped around by Vargas??? Most thought he won that fight and because Vargas was the suppose to be the next big thing and that's why he got the nod. Winky could stand right if front of Angulo block his punches or take them. You act as if Angulo is the second coming of Julian Jackson or something?:rofl Winky had a great chin and underrated tougheness. Also he stood right in front of Tito and Taylor both of which he walked down but he couldn't do the same to Angulo? Really??? And you wonder why no one here agrees with you? Winky is light years more skilled and better than Angulo and would school him. How is Angulo gonna get past Winky's jab? He couldn't even get by Kirklands crude jab so how in the **** is he gonna get past Winky's?:deal This is the same Angulo who was outboxed by Cintron for crying out loud.:patsch Lastly you bring up the Williams fight as if that loss means anything. Winky was old and had been inactive in that fight. The Winky of the Taylor fight beats any version of Williams.:deal

    Why you like Winky so much?

    All that mother ****er did was stick his gloves up in a turtle shell scared as **** with some huge ass gloves.

    Yes, he was impressive against Taylor and he took some punishment backing him up...(I forgot about that fight), but...

    He would beat Angulo so what?

    He still got the ass beatin of a lifetime against Paul Williams.

    Because he was underrated and ducked by many during his career who never really got his due. He was often considered boring despite an ATG jab a high work rate and an uncanny ability to walk his opponents down. He was a quality technician who would have beaten any boxer 154 and down in his era and that includes PBF. A true ATG at 154 who is criminally underrated and a stylistic nightmare to face.

    Nah good scrap but Forrest didn't have Winky's ring genralship nor his defense. Winky would have won a close UD over him.

    sounds like you're hating. not only was winky rusty when he fought williams but he was also past his best. paul shouldnt have even fought him, or verno phillips. winky would obviously have to be in top shape and on his A game against either Kirkland and Angulo, but that's the type of thing that doesn't need to be said about winky, because in his prime he was always in top shape and always brought his A game. Defense too tight, jab too straight, straight right too crisp, for dudes standing directly in front of him all night. Winky UD with no scary moments, maybe a rough patch or two
