So what does that mean for Macklin or Lee's hopes for fighting on that day in the garden? More chance of Andy being on the card with him being his cousin??

Teddy Atlas book, Ringside by Budd Schulberg, View from the corner - Angelo Dundee's book, Chris Eubank's book are all brilliant reads. In particular, Atlas book is class, a real turn pager and full of drama and insight.

Wayne McCullough's book was a good read (not as good as the above) but an interesting read.

One book to avoid is Kevin Mitchell's Jacob Beach - terrible read - the last chapter of Schulbergs Ringside is the authorative read on that topic area.

Also, Barney Eastwood's book 'Hooked on the jab' has a lot of interesting stuff, but a very frustrating read, it is so unstructured, back and forth - it ruined what should have been a brilliant read.

I just bought Jimmy McLarnin's Baby Face goes to Hollywood today in Banana Books for £3.99 - bargain.

Good to see a Full page tribute to Frazier in tonights echo. Not so good to see Muhammed Ali misspelled 7 times in that article. How can you get the best known sportsman ever name wrong

Colin Lyons is boxing a dream tonight a nice fight and with that knockdown should be enough for him to win the title tonight. Really good fight between the 2.

The Gorgeous Gael Jack Doyle is a great read, both from a boxing and a non boxing point of view

Let me know if its the Cork Elvis that made that howler and I'll give me pelters as well.

Maybe he will pull a Stapo and blame the sub editor! (still no response an where he saw Ormond in the WBO Top 15! )

didnt see Slap- was told by ****** and Stephen himself!!! also someone posted it here.

And that could easily be me mispelling Ali's name... once a word has more than two vowels in it my dyslexia takes over. but as an editor of my mine said you, probably all to often, in my case, "i can fix a spelling mistake, but i cant make a bad story good"
