79-73 Lynes. I like his cleaner shots more.

7-1 Lynes (he's just become the betting favourite on betfair)

    Round 8

Lynes dances to the ropes, still with as much bounce as he had in the early rounds. Quick walking steps to the right to draw Purdy in the wrong direction, and Lynes bounces away to the left. Purdy is following, high guard against his face as he ducks and shoots up by turns trying to keep Lynes off-guard but for naught as he isn't close enough to deal any damage. A couple of good shots by Purdy at the end of the round, an uppercut and some body shots with Lynes in the corner - but again not enough to steal it.

    79-73 Lynes

What were the odds on this fight? I can't remember the line I saw.

    Round 9

Slapping body shots by Purdy. Lynes is no longer able to keep distance and is leaning in, tying up. Purdy slaps away as Lynes tosses back short straight counters. DOUBLE LEFT HOOK TO THE FACE BY LYNES! Right hand by Purdy. 1-2 by Lynes. Slugging it out!

    10-9 Lynes

    89-82 Lynes

The ones I used as the basis for the vBookie event had Purdy 8/15, Lynes 15/8.

89-82 Lynes. Everytime Purdy gets good shots in, Lynes comes back harder.

    Round 10

Lynes sticks and moves. Purdy bobs from side to side, but doesn't come forward. Slow approach by Purdy, reluctant. A few lunging jabs, and an even worse lunging right. Lynes waits for him in the corner, bowing forward slightly with his arms down and then tossing a quick combo as he moves to his left with Purdy just suckered straight in. Left hook by Lynes, moving all over the ring and keeping to the outside but with Purdy just a step behind! Several high snap-jabs by Lynes to the blinking eyelids of Purdy. Slapping hook flurry by Lynes as he hugs the ropes going right. Purdy comes in low, and tries to rise up with a left hook to pin Lynes to the ropes. Lynes is still bouncing around, and lands an overhand right with his back to the ropes. 1-2 by Lynes. Right hand by Purdy! Lynes KNOCKS HIM DOWN!! Purdy gets up and hammers away with some high left hooks but Lynes fights him off and then moves away.

    10-8 Lynes

    99-90 Lynes

Ahh. Looks like it may have been a slip. But a right hand before that did stagger his legs.
