    Round 11

Lynes hops around, tossing the 1-2 and pulling himself back with tugs of either shoulder to stay rolled off from all of Purdy's lunging shots thrown in pursuit. Lynes is now landing the 1-2 down the middle and some long hooks to the side of the head as well as some digs to the body. Purdy is just clapping down with some overhand rights and trying to force his way in to throw uppercuts but stifling himself with too little room, and there isn't much steam left on his shots anyhow. Tie up, and Lynes smacks him in the face with a short right on the way out. Another clinch, and they wrestle out of it. Purdy hangs on after an attempted separation which saw Lynes out-smack him 4 to 1. Left hook to the body by Lynes as Purdy lands one on his head!!

    10-9 Lynes

    109-99 Lynes

    Round 12

Lynes sticks and moves, left. Purdy summons a hail storm and tries to catch Lynes in a cold drift against the corner. Lynes is still too slippery. Weaving and slipping through Purdy's shots at close range, Lynes manages to elude him with just upper body movement as his head remains stuck out on his neck stiff as a plank and leaned partway in on him. Purdy gets jabbed in the face, and then grabbed. Purdy lands a hook but is backed up by a right hand from Lynes. Another. Clinch. Wild overhand right by Purdy. Clinch. The ref is keeping busy. HARD SHOTS by Lynes suddenly charging forward, an uppercut and a left hook thrown under a Purdy right. Slapping overhands by Purdy up close as they press together, smothered. Flurries by Lynes down the stretch. One more clinch. They flop together, exhausted.

    10-9 Lynes

    119-108 Lynes

    Yup. Just as I thought.

Ian John Lewis is the guy who let Shannon Briggs get beat into a coma against Vitali and missed 2 easy knockdown calls in Hopkins/Pascal 2.

    What a parasite.
