Great fight. Although Lynes outboxed him, Purdy made him work hard and was always dangerous. Ian John Lewis should be dropped after that scorecard, get rid of these incompetent judges.

Pretty embarrassing how there is always one judge who sees what he wants to see based on pre-fight odds/expectations.

can't get over how bad kels voice is, gets me every time.

They need to sort judging out because it puts me off boxing a bit, not to the point where I wouldn't watch it obviously but if I was just getting into it, i'd probably switch over to another sport.

Ian must have been scoring in part based on the Sky compubox #'s.

They had Lynes and Purdy connecting at 26% and 24% respectively.

In reality, the gap in clean touches favored Lynes by much more than that - not to mention the quality of his work was better.

Does Lewis always just score to the aggressor? Is he from Essex?

Certainly arguable. Purdy certainly didn't win any round clearly.

I had it 12-1 (inc the KD).

I think a lot of these poor cards are lazy ones for the aggressor.

Maybe but refusing to acknowledge any of Purdy's work is pretty poor as well. Not as bad as IJL somehow giving him 6 rounds mind..
