Yep, there's a reason why Ramos is considered one of the worst 'world' champions out there, and that is he just isn't very good. Shimoda, who, despite his speed, isn't really world class was pitching a shutout until he was caught and gatekeeper Valdez pushed him close. Rigo should obliterate him. Only reason why I won't be piling on is due to how close it is after Christmas...but I definitely think it's a sure thing.
Okay, seems I found a good'un. The old eye for these things is still there... Gotta agree, Ramos looks ordinary in that video. I watched a round and it told me all I need to know, if he beats Rig then the guy should just go ahead and retire, he wasn't cut out for the pro game. Xmas come early here.
But surely we can all go out on a giant splurge prior to Xmas secure in the knowledge Ramos is a bum. Might have to get that Ps3, rent a Ferrari etc.
Seems the bookies haven't learnt their mistake from making Rigo 1/2 against Casey. I hope that's the case anyway. Rent a ferrari I thought you was holding back with the betting...
The fact that Rigo's already beaten a significantly better fighter than Ramos in Cordoba suggests that he if he isn't cut out for the upper echelons of the pro game he'll still win relatively comfortably. Even if he hasn't gained any experience since - certainly can't have gained much from actual in-ring exploits seeing as he reduced Casey to a pink mist about 4 seconds after the ref's instructions - that fight he's still more than able enough to at least take every round en route to a decision, just depends on Ramos' capacity for punishment really. It seems like I'm setting myself for a fall, but unlike other times I'm not even worried about that, Ramos is god-awful and the only stand-out thing he has are his feminine eyelashes.
At Coral they have priced up Spain at Evens, I'm seriously thinking about lumping on Spain -1 at 3/1 :think
just looked at that too, I'm tempted to stick them in a few doubles. spain ht/ft @ 15/8 looks good too.
Ovill McKenzie rounds 1-4 = 10/3 (9/2 for rounds 1-3) McKenzie is pretty much a four round fighter, so if he's going to stop Evans it will be early you would think.
Thoughts on Bradley/Casa? Anyone think that Desert Storm will wear him down late on to a refs stoppage?
