British Officials - Dodgy Scorecard/Bull**** Stoppage Compilation Thread

  1. :hi:

After last night's controversy/Stevie Wonder moment from Ian John Lewis I thought it would be good to have a thread dedicated to our heroes - the British officials, who week after week astound us with their unbelievably bad scoring/refereeing.

    Ian John Lewis

    Lynes vs Purdy 114-114
    Norton vs Williams 113-116
    Sai vs Cox 112-114
    Bayaar vs Sexton 114-114
    Quigley vs Smith 112-116

    + numerous Prizefighter cards.

    Terry O'Connor

    Fury vs McDermott 98-92

    Calzaghe vs Manfredo

    Dave Parris

    Bellew vs Cleverly 112-117
    Napa vs McDonnell 112-117

    Howard Foster

    Murray vs Thaxton

    To be continued......

    :woot

Who scored that Prizefighter 30-27 despite the winner being knocked down?

Ian John Lewis shouldn't be allowed to judge another fight for a very long time.

All the cards for Katsidis-Burns were too wide.

I agree with this. I think I had it 7-5 watching from the stands

It’s interesting that there seems to be no quality control for judges. If I was consistently underperforming is my role, I’d be disciplined and eventually fired.

I had it 6-5-1 for Burns. It was a very close fight and the scores were a bit of an insult to both men.

He's crying right now, but in time he'll see he actually did quite well beating that Katsidis. Even though the Australian was shot, missing an arm and wanting his bed.
