Besides, does anyone REALLY THINK that if Margarito was replaced, Cotto would want to face either Pawel Wolak (decent fighter though, lots of heart and will) or Vanes Freaking Martirosyan (WTF?)? Really?? I would not be surprised if faced with those "alternate plans", he would instead not even go from Orlando to NYC and would take first flight back to PR. You would see the biggest ticket refund en masse at MSG in history. It isn't going to happen, Bob will give a nice pile of dirty money from his greased palms and grease it up in the NYSAC board member's greasy palms, count on it.

Say whatever you want about Bob Arum but dont deny the fact that the guy is a PROMOTER who has been doing this since most of you weren't even born! You really think he's not going to make sure Margarito is cleared for approval in NY before negotiating to have this take place there? Come on now!

He doesn't even like to do cards @ MSG bc they take taxes out that other places don't, so in order for him to stage a fight there...it has to be a solid card in which he is absolutely confident that it will do well! If he were to replace the opponent 3 weeks out, there would be an insane amount of the refunds and this thing would blow up in his face.

Absolutely no way this fight is called off. Only way this fight isn't taking place is if Cotto or Margarito gets injured.

This^^^^^ park place apts aren't cheap, and with rent control at an alltime high, the govt aint giving no section 8 away without proper need.
