Personally I never believed it but the 3rd round in a fight between phenomenon Willie Pep and Jackie Graves was supposedly won by Pep without throwing a punch. It has since been proven to be false. My question ishow was this proven to be false?
Do you not thnk it was possible Graves was simply embarrassed to admit he had been the victim of Peps skill in such an embarrassing way?

There are neutral newspaper reports of the fight, round by round. Apparently the third was quite a scrap.

Has anyone debunked RJJ doing it -- and calling his shot beforehand that he would do it -- against Vinnie Paz?
The only one who went a round without landing a punch in that fight was Pazienza and he sure didn't win that round.
Even Sugar admitted recently that it probably wasn't true, although he still insisted that Pep won a round without landing a punch.
