Yep it's a Filipino thing, although he is on the extreme side of of it already since it's pretty rare even around here to see an (worthless) entourage that huge even for the most celebrated of people.

It makes him feel at home and as other posters here have said, it makes him relax and calm his nerves down.

My verdict, choose ten people who are actually usable and dispose of the rest.

only a few of them were being paid by pac. many members of his entourage are filthy rich person, one particular is richer than pac.

many of them are gamblers and indeed are gambling lords in the phils.

 

Pac's entourage consists of regular joes. If he was insecure, he'd let famous people run with him. For insecurity, see Floyd with his juiced up bodyguards. I've seen LeBron James walking around the mall with just a guy friend. They were surprisingly not swamped - just stopped for a lot of autographs from store to store.

You wouldnt understand, its a pinoy thing. This is why we should vote Bobby pacquiao into the hall of fame also. Bobbys statue can accompany Mannys statue so he'll never be alone. I will visit the hall of fame as much as I can when he gets in. I'd like to get a job there so I can make sure its cleaned and polished everyday and make sure *****s don't mess with it. If only dreams came true.
