They were just d locks , it's not like other fighters couldn't pull a more convincing Chuvalo/Cooper/Jones/Frazier/Norton on Ali

I`d make Muhammad Ali of 1964-67 a favourite over every other HW... doesn`t mean he would beat them all but I think he should be favoured.

    I would rephrase the question:

"From any era prime for prime what heavyweights have a decent enough chance to beat Ali?"

Taking away the obvious choices (frazier, for example); 3 guys I think had a decent enough chance to beat Ali are:

    - Tyson
    - Holyfield
    - Lennox Lewis (not that sure on this one)

Foreman also has a chance, if he fights a clever fight and doesn't play Ali's game.

Joe Louis is in a class of his own. He is the only ATG HW I consider has even odds (50-50) against Ali

Of course Holyfield , Holmes , Carl Williams , Tim Witherspoon , Pinklon Thomas and Chris Byrd all were about 50-50 against Ali , besides of d men whom I mentioned and those who actually beat him . I believe there r others .
But these r not locks 2 beat him like those I mentioned in my 1st post here .
