I went to the game. Tomkins is very very good. World class player and the best player over here. His been amazing at Wigan!! His brother has just gone to Union and Union over here would love to take Sam but he will be @ Wigan for at least 3 more years. Just signed a 1 year extension to a 5 year contract and the terms are that his basically not allowed to talk to any Rugby Union or NRL teams for at least 3 years unless Wigan say so and even then it would cost a club the best part of £1 million to take him.

If he does leave in 3 years I just hope its to the NRL. I'm Wigan and it would be a massive blow to lose him but I want him in Rugby League and hope he never goes to the dark side and plays Union.

England finally have a back who could go the NRL and slot in no problem.

Great news for non-Manly fans. What a stupid move by the suits pissing Hasler off early. He is a Manly icon and a great coach they could have went back to back.:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

This must be the least celebrated premiership ever.

I still reckon the Peter Peters sacking was where this whole catastrophe began. Who'd have thought that such a fat spaz ***** could create such a butterfly effect.

In terms of people, anytime the scum win the comp would count as the least celebrated.

2009 was Brutal after winning the premiership. I was certain the 2008 team would go back to back.

If Hasler was trying to tap into players and get them moving to the Bulldogs then I dont think Manly had any other choice but to sack him.

Thats If he was doing that. Im a bit suss he has been a loyal Manly guy for 20 years. This could be just a bull**** reason to sack him without paying out his contract.
