Hasler hasnt come out and denied the accusations made by Manly, so it looks as though he's done it. Hasler just wants to get on with things, and get paid more ASAP, and doesnt care what destruction he leaves in his path. I'm starting to love the guy. :good
20 years I don't believe it. It's like Faalongo who just happened to be going to England anyway kinghitting Jason Taylor so Souths could say he was drunk and started it so they could **** him off without paying him out. Too suss. though unlike JT Hasler has somewhere to go so you might be right. Anyway it's Manly lets just enjoy it.
Hasler wants his money bags, and he doesnt want to wait a year for it. If that means destroying the club he's loved and always been a part of, then so be it. :deal JT did get a pay out.
:rofl Same ****, different year. Kinda like Pecks dribble about the wabbits being god sends and how they will win a Grand final in the next 5 decades. :tired
im not sure what des was thinking. i guess he saw the loyalty players felt for bennett and thought he would get some loyalty also from some players by going with him to the dogs. however, leaving the broncos to go to st george, is a different kettle of fish than going from manly to the dogs. des is yet to prove he is a bennett, and the dogs havent the aura or history of the saints. des has ****ed up. with the dogs current playing roster, minus any manly talent, des has his work cut out for him. he has been lucky with the players he has had to work with over at manly for a few years, and mainly had the same core group to build from. with the dogs, he has no core group of reps, and a dead**** mob of supporters that will turn on him in an instant. des is in for a few years in the wilderness....
I find it a bit funny that a coach can be sacked for trying to poach players to another club. If a club has a player under contract, it means ****. If a player has a get out clause in the contract pertaining to the coach leaving, well it kind of goes without saying that the player would converse with the coach if he was to leave. I cant imagine any coach who signs for another club mid season, or before he has finished his obligations to his current club wouldnt be talking to players about possible positions at the new club. It would be par for the course...the manly board and part owners are a bumbling mess looking to deflect blame, attention and scorn towards the one guy who held the joint together and won them premierships.
Interesting points Sally. Bennett apparently told Gould that he didn't think he would be able to rebuild anclub from the ground up. I don't think the dogs are quite at that point yet, but they are certainly in a weaker spot than st George were in when Bennett took over. He may be biting off more than he can chew, but it's manly who have ****ed up.
**** thats twice I've done that now. atsch Roosters4life password RORTSCUM. **** lucky I don't do that in the boxing forum.
