Remigijus Ziausys, a Lithuanian cruiserweight with a record of 19-43-3. He lost on points to Sam Sexton last month and appears to be very durable with only one KO in 43 losses. Expect this to be a one sided waste of everyones time.
I suppose it's better than letting the training camp go to waste, and we get to see what sort of shape Chisora is in and whether he looks better than the Fury fight. Or am I being too nice?!
Why do they always bring these Lithuanian, Slovakian, Latvian no hopers in? Half the time they never learn anything when they fold like a deck chair within 1/2 rounds. They would probably learn more in the gym than fighting these kind of opponents. Actually, I know why they do it, cause it makes their fighter look good, like he's going places, and puts another win on his record, but far as improving thus raising your potential goes, it seems pretty pointless to me.
Waste of time this!! Get a better workout sparring. Why not draft Tom Dallas in? He takes fights short notice and could give fat Del more problems than this shitty cruiser
And Sky accept these fights. ****** must have Sky wrapped around his finger. People wonder why British fighters have problems when they step up a level, and its because a lot of them have got into double figure wins feasting on guys like this. Remember De Gale's opponent Kubin? I mean, come on . I take the point that was early in his career, but De Gale had probably fought better competition at amateur level than that. His first opponent was a smaller man with no prospect of beating him to, now I aint trying to bash De Gale, but its just instances like that, that make no sense to me.
Tom Dallas is utter shite and no doubt is far worse than this Eastern European bloke. After getting destroted with ease in his last 2 fights by average opponents he can't be taken seriously as a top 500 boxer ever again.
Because they cost **** all to bring over, and it allows the promoter to use the phrase 'international opponent'.
