Khan has turned into a badass. Has Bradley ducking him and is calling out Floyd and the Berto/Ortiz winner. I like the implications that it has also. Seems a Khan/Floyd fight isn't on the horizon if he's targeting the Berto/Ortiz winner. I think he'd beat both but Ortiz definitely poses the bigger threat to Khan. He can bang hard. Khan may have schooled him in the amateurs but Ortiz's style is much more suited to the pros.
He ****ing wont, how can anyone even the real nuthuggers think Khan can ever beat Floyd???....****ing beggers belief man....Mayweather would make Khan look like a silly ****....Speed is one thing, throwing loads of shots is another, knowing how to deal with not being able to hit anything is yet another thing that Khan has not been faced with and when and if he does face Floyd Khan will fire multiple shots again and again with the zero power he has and get nowhere near Floyd, then Khan will start that big lunging forward thing he does when he doesnt know what to do....Then Floyd catches him coming in...K.O Easy fight to read.
I wouldnt be so sure, I think Khan will catch Floyd on the slide and could edge a UD. Khan is very young and still improving and Floyd isn't getting any younger. I think Khan could cause a lot of problems for Floyd. At the moment Floyd is still riding high, but this is boxing, unbeaten fighters more often than not do get beaten in the end and just because a fighter hasn't been beaten doesn't mean they cannot be beaten. All in all I think Khan has just a decent chance as anyone, but I'd favour Floyd UD if forced to lay money on it.
I still laugh my arse off at the people who used to say Khan would be protected throughout his career. Both dangerous fights. I think Ortiz would beat him, purely on sheer strength. As improved as Khan's defense is, it's not enough to stop some of Ortiz's shots from getting in.
Wow, I wouldn't. Floyd's game relies on speed and reflexes, and as we know they don't last forever. Khan hasn't even reached his peak yet. who knows how far he could go.
If I was faced with a bet to put on and I had a option of the two I mentioned I would go with Floyd simple as that.
That's your perogative I guess. But who knows how far Floyd's reflexes may have deteriorated by then.
floyd is the complete boxer, there isn't one single thing he isn't good at he is all around, when he had trouble with zab judah's speed he adjusted and fought out of a conventional guard and walked him down, against baldomir he boxed off the back foot, against gatti he stayed in ranged and fired off combinations.... the shoulder roll defence is only one aspect of floyds defence.
One thing I don't understand is that quite a few ppl felt Hatton would beat Mayweather so why does no one give Khan a chance against Mayweather? I don't expect Khan to beat Mayweather but if he continues to improve and Mayweather's reflexes start to slide....
I think the safest bets would be Floyd UD vs Khan 2012. And Khan UD vs 40 year old Floyd. Although I see Floyd retiring within a year and forever protecting his zero
