We don't know how Khan's power be like at 147, for all we know making 140 Khan might be cutting himslef. Remember adding any weight to speed can have great results eg Manny.
Look mate look at it like this.......Khan has great speed, speed is power....Khans never had any power, moving up if anything will slow him down, you dont suddenly gain K.O power overnight, only person he's battered was that Jewish kid Salita and he was a fairy......Only chance he has of gaining power is by goin thru whatever Roach has done to Manny, and **** knows what that is cos there are many views on that.
Power comes from strong legs, I have always Khan has some stick legs he badly needs to beef em up. Only time will tell, but let me give a inside view, Floyd don't like to get hit, Floyd don't like to out speeded, Floyd likes to control fights. Khan will make Floyd face reactions change when Floyd will try that slip and duck vs Khan but Khan will catch him more than anyone has in recent times. Again Speed is the key vs Floyd and Khan has lots of it and is also showing signs that he can control that speed.
Power comes from technique. Technique isn't Khan's strong point, regardless of how strong his legs are.
I agree, I hope sits down on his punches more at 147 knowing at that weight he is punching harder. Khan has at times problem with balance, he needs to bounce around less and be a little more flat footed.
No boxer likes to get hit man, difference is Floyd is the best at not getting hit, Khan isnt the best at anything and brings nothing but his speed, Mayweather will pick the openings and make Khan look like a right tool....If and when the fight happens thats the outcome right there plain and simple.
Also getting punched harder from harder punchers at their natural weight. He will always bounce around, he's cautious of being caught.
D, you're my bro, but honestly, Amir has no chance. You're focusing on Amir's strengths and Floyd's weaknesses. But look at it the other way as well. Look at Amir's weaknesses and Floyd's strengths. Floyd would make Amir look like an absolute amateur. Amir squares up too much, he has no head movement, he goes off-balance when throwing his combinations, he's open for a counter right over that Jab he throws, which Mayweather is easily capable of, and Amir's speed would easily be nullified by Floyd's own speed and timing. If a guy like McCloskey can read what Khan was going to do, then image what Floyd would do? Khan is way too easy to read. As much as I'd want you to be right, Floyd is just too good and I know what you're probably picturing in your head, but Mayweather just beats Amir in every department. If flurries and speed could beat Mayweather alone, then he wouldn't be P4P one of the best fighters out there. Hope you're right though, but I just don't see it.
Well yes the good money for once will not be on Khan, but I can tell you it will be a much closer fight then everybody think.
I'm no expert, but i can judge fight's based on styles and past performances.....If you dont like what i say tell me otherwise why that wont happen then clever cloggs.
