Thinking hard about it like a puzzle, I see it changing Foreman's entire career more than it does Frazier. For better or worse, Foreman would've stayed the man. But that would've affected the fighter he became when he came back.

As far as I'm concerned Quartey beat Oscar and Forrest.

Wow, now you're just being a hater. This thread is about close fights. Go hate in another thread.

I avoided that one because I knew this was going to happen. But Taylor getting the nod might have upped his status, but his career aftereward is the same. He becomes damaged over the years and in the rematch but he does retire with something.

Leonard hagler was the one that came to mind first, I feel Hagler would have been ranked a lot closer to srl than he does now and also would have been the fighter of the decade in the 80's had he gotten the decision.
Morales vs Diaz is another one, he would be a legit 4 division champ with claims for 5 now at 140.

First the fight didn't go to the cards. Second it would've changed nothing Taylor was finished after this fight and was going to lose the rematch anyway. He was not going to pack a HOF career or something.

Would Hagler really have gotten credit for beating a guy who came out of 3 year retirement and above his natural weight class, not hating just curious.
