For every Positive polar dynamic you might care to name regarding any of the great heavyweights past and present...Jimmy Young represented the Negative polar nondynamic that opposed it.

Walcott couldn't even decision Marciano. Young decisioned the much stronger, harder hitting, more skilled, AND more courageous Lyle TWICE. And he also decisioned Shavers and stunned him on numerous occasions.

And of course young eclipsed even those accomplishments by forever banishing the first incarnation of George Foreman..into the mist he went in 1977...not no return again..instead he morphed into the lovable, bald, cheeseburger eating preacher and grill salesman we now all know and love. That was Jimmy Young's masterpiece. They couldn't screw him out of that one.

Owned indeed. Here's Lyle holding Young up as he was about to go down from one of those sweet demon speed right hand counters. Lyle should have let him go down, as the judges mistook his kindness for weakness.
