    I was looking forward to this fight. Could be fight of the year. Is this based on yesterdays news about the venue as NY wont let Tony fight. They can find another state or resolve this. Why would they book a venue without clearing it all first.

    And if its true..why in the **** did commission wait until the fight was so close?? They have to be the most dumbest people I know if they canceled the fight now.:patsch

    There is a hearing in NYC (not unexpected) next week to hear from Margarito's eye doctor to see if they will license him based on his eye injury. The hearing has nothing to do with the previous wrapping scandal. My instinct tells me it is a dog and pony show because I seriously doubt Arum would bring the show there, spend what he has already spent on the promotion, put tix on sale, etc... if he did not have certain assurances from the commission that this was a rubber stamp. But who knows? Anything could happen.

    Arum mentioned to me yesterday that they are less than 2,000 to go for a sellout.
