Ward, Froch and Bute are now the top three. I would rate Froch number 1 on the resume. Bute and Ward on a H2H basis.
Still rank Kessler ahead of Bute, he nicked a win over Froch, although arguable it was a win. Kessler may drop out from inactivity, we'll see just how long he'll be out of the game, but for now the top 4 are, imo pretty clear. Froch ahead of Kessler because he arguably beat him and he holds more consistency at a certain level and quite clearly has the better Last five wins. Bute could climb, depending on who he fights next.
Revised top 10 (changes since last month in parenthesis): 1) Ward (+1) 2) Bute (-1) 3) Kessler (-) 4) Froch (+1) 5) Dirrell (-1) 6) Bika (+1) 7) Andrade (+1) 8) Abraham (-3) 9) Johnson (NEW) 10) Stieglitz (-1)
For me, Kessler is retired. If he comes back, he won't be as good as he was. If not, he's in the top 4.
Kessler's definately not the force he once was. I'd favour Froch over him in a rematch with ease. He's not as bad as the showing against Ward but he's lost much of he was strong at. Gets hit an awful lot these days and seems a lot slower.
1. Bute 2. Ward 3. Kessler 4. Froch 5. Dirrell 6. Andrade 7. Bika 8. Johnson 9. Abraham 10. Stieglitz/ Magee ...again - little difference between the top 4. Froch over Bute is fine too.
1. Dirrell 2. Ward 3. Kessler 4. Froch 5. Bute 6. Abraham 7. Taylor 8. Steiglitz 9. DeGale 10. Andrade
...and still stands!... except the difference between Bute and Froch is evident now... 1. Bute 2. Ward 3. Kessler 4. Froch
