Some people on here say Mayweather is ****, that Pacquiao is **** etc. Any fighter will get some prats calling them ****.

Bute doesn't get it disproportionally badly at all; at least no where nearly as much as his fan boys make out (hence the victim mentality comment).

It can legitimately argued that Bute hasn't got as strong a resume as the other top 168 guys and hasn't proved himself to the same extent. This is because, for whatever the reasons, he wasn't in the super six so hasn't had the chance.

So people ranking him below Froch, Ward, Kessler etc is pretty fair because they are simply more proven. Its not evidence of people hating on Bute at all.

Maybe not. It all depends on how he wins.

Don't get me wrong. I see Bute as having very good potential. He reminds me of a young Gatti, except Gatti was faster with a better jab, and all around boxing skills. Then Gatti started getting into wars and throwing his boxing out the window reverting back to brawling.
I'm interested in seeing if Bute does the same.

Bute's resume doesn't have anything that touches the Kessler win on Ward's though does it.

If you compare Froch and Bute's resumes you must be able to see why people say Bute hasn't proven himself to the same extent..

Where do you draw the line? Simply put, who must Bute fight now that would make him proven? Is it all grey and subjective to you, or black & white objective?

I'm curious to see which names you'll come up with so we can stack them up against Bute's opposition. Otherwise just say he's up there and deserves his spot in the top 4 SMW's. H2H is a different story, with the Bika/Miranda, Magee/Johnson, and Andrade I/II comparisons to performances by Ward, Froch and Kessler respectively.

Agree, but with the same price in £, he just need half or so number of tickets sale to bring the same gate money.

Yeah because if he would have wait, he would still be the WBC emeritus and it will be that easier to make a fight happen vs the WBC champion (winner of S6).

You said before that the fact that Bute win in a "better" way than Ward or Froch against the same fighter means nothing. But now, if he wins, you will check how he will win before saying he is good. Just do like Alien and accept your hate and your trolling ways instead of trying to make it like you use facts.

I definitely think Bute should fight the Super 6 winner. It would be a good match up regardless of whether Ward or Froch wins.

I don't know if he can pay in excess of 5M for Ward without US tele, but I'm sure that Showtime or HBO will pick it up perhaps on tapedelay. It's clear that most of the money will have to come from european TV and 30K people in Parken Stadium.

I mean if he wins on boxing skills, versus if he wins on bad call by the referee or judge(s), etc.
Example: Dawson just won his match against Hopkins, but I don't give him any points for the win because it was a bad call by the referee. :good

I really expect Kessler to win this and gain the title.
Ward or Froch may want that WBO title. Maybe not. We'll see.
