Very interesting facts. Look at how even these guys are when it comes to statistics. Not perfectly even but it is the closest we can get from any fighters going against each other.

    Pro-debut:
    Pacquiao: January 22, 1995
    Marquez: May 29, 1993

    Record:
    Pacquio: 58 (fights), 53 (wins), 38 (KOs)
    Marquez: 59 (fights), 53 (wins), 39 (KO's)

    Height:
    Pacquiao: 5' 6 1/2"
    Marquez: 5' 7"

    Reach:
    Pacquiao: 67"
    Marquez: 67"

    Weight: (official)
    Pacquiao: 143 lbs
    Marquez: 142 lbs

After 24 rounds of boxing: (total score from 6 judges)
    Pacquiao: 679
    Marquez: 678

What makes it more interesting....different fighting styles:
    Southpaw vs Orthodox
    Boxer Puncher vs. Counter Puncher.

...Now as for the age, I think the way they fight makes up for it. Marquez' defensive awareness preserving his body from beatings. This one is open for agument though.

Pacquiao not draining himself at WW will be a very important advantage for him in this one.

The same can be said for Marquez. Both boxers will be the same weigh during the fight night.

Very amazing statistics between the two. This will be an epic trilogy.
3 Title fights in 3 different divisions for 7 years in the making.

Man oh man -- I'm doing the same thing I do over and over. I tell myself, "I'm not buyin' that fight. It's not worth the money." And then, as the fight draws nigh my mind starts creeping over toward, "I gotta see this fight!":bbb

Marquez can be considered a puncher too. Guy has underrated power.

Matter of fact, he is a brawler too, he never backs down from a toe to toe.
