No Mick, I'm afraid Frank still leads with his head. Why you did'nt throw in the towel earlier is a mystery to me. Trout landed enough punches to KO 3 men. If this was Trouts showcase fight then i think they failed. atsch
Fair call. But in fairness to Mick Hargreaves Frank LoPorto didn't listen to a single word he said. It looked like Frank had made up his mind before the fight he was going to ko Austin Trout with an overhand right and that's all he ever tried. LoPorto also broke every fundamental rule of fighting a southpaw. He didn't try leading with a straight right. He didn't move in the right direction. Could go on. Be all saw it.
Silly mismatch as expected. Trout has limited power but makes up for it with great stamina and a good work rate. His conditioning is great, regardless that frank was little more than a heavy bag. Trout changes angles lots...franky was turning on to his punches all night. If the ref was letting the beating go on, the corner should have stopped it earlier. That fight went too long. Nothings changed...TROUT KO MUNDINE.
Terrible performance, as expected. I've heard before that Frank has a problem listening to trainers. Not that it would've made a difference in this fight.
That was pretty bad. Never seen LaPorto fight. Mundine has a chance against Trout IMO. His performance against R.Alvarez was on a par with Trout. Tolliver atsch
seriously sometimes boxing can be a sad sport to watch if i was ever to fight in a ring i would ask my trainer "mate can i fight or what have i got a punch ?, if not tell me now"
Toliver is only a part time fighter mate. Short notice fight, he and his brother are more interested in making music. He's never in proper shape.
just saw the fight, cant beleive mick hargrave didnt stop the fight earlier. Frank took way to many shots
