surely being d shorter man by 9 inches and d older man by 6 years (while both not 2 young) must b more reasonable than being KOd @ 1's absolue prime by quite a green and 3 inches shorter man .

During Ali,Frazier and Foreman's era,Valuev would have been European champ for a short time, but that would be it. He'd have lost to Joe Bugner.

At some point early in the competition, Ali would make a face at Valuev. Now, keep in mind that the only time Muhammad was ever dethroned in the ring, he made a face at Leon Spinks, who made a retaliatory face, demoralizing and horrifying Ali into defeat. For their New Orleans rematch, Ali attempted no more faces.

Valuev-Ali all comes down to whether or no Muhammad attempts to make any early faces. If he does, and Nikolai retaliates, the next thing Ali will see will be the ceiling lights in the padded cell of his isolated room in the psych ward as he wakes up screaming in his restraints.
