Pavlik is to big and rangy for Kirkland, and I seriously doubt if Kirkland's chin would hold up.

Not a fight people would want to see for the effort these guys have to put into getting prepared- Pavlik has to come down and Kirklad has to bulk up properly. Kirkland looks comfortable between 148-160 and Pavlik looks like he can turn LH any day, especially if he is on the drink!
    :yikes

Pavlik would smash him. He is too big, his shots are too straight and he isn't as stupid as Angulo.

Good point. Pavlik has probably drank himself out of MW for good. His swollen liver alone probably weighs 120 pounds itself.

Pavlik in a complete blowout. Maybe a first round knockout.

Pavlik in 4, assuming he's dedicated.

Jermain Taylor after a comeback fight or three would be interesting for Kirkland.
(I don't want to see Jermain in the ring but if he wanted a big fight, this one isn't beyond him winning.)

If Jermain has anything left, he's all wrong for Kirkland. Even when Angulo was completely out of gas he still had moments when he could land his right almost at will. Jermain used to have one of the best lead rights in the business. JT is also WAY faster than Kirkland.

We'll know after about 3 comeback fights what he has left and how far he can go. He didn't look bad at-all against Abraham.

You're right the lead right hand is the shot for JT, but if Kirkland makes it past 6 it could end similar to the Froch fight.

It's probably wishful thinking, but I would love to see JT back in top form. He's training under Pat Burns again, so that is one good sign.

    Pavlik by KO.

The big straight right hand would be nasty for Kirkland. Would probably end early.
