So we're in agreement then Flea, he is a lesser fighter. What you've basically said there is because he has diminished slightly he's a better fighter, he's not. He's a fighter that's more willing to trade(well, a fighter who is FORCED to trade) and is poor defensively, which has led to him establishing his superiority to a greater extent over much lesser fighters because he can bang them out quicker. He was a better fighter at both 126lbs and 130lbs, much more fleet of foot, more adept at the side-stepping that has helped him so greatly against Pac, better defensively, all the while retaining his wonderful punching form, just not letting his hands go as much.

Was his lightweight reign that good anyways? A very close fight with a past it Casamayor before he found the knockout and dominating an always just short of world class guy like Katsidis aren't tremendous wins, and as highly as I rate Juan Diaz his reputation had already taken a knock after the Campbell debacle. It's impressive but I'm not sure it's all that better than the previous two divisions work.

And JohnBoy, are you telling me you've never seen Pacquiao feint? He's the best in the sport at it, he's excellent at setting traps.

I think it was very impressive stuff. I think it's made him a tougher proposition for most because he's such a dynamite puncher and he lays it on more now. Although his best 'win' for me was the 2nd Pac fight.

But it puts him at a stylistic disadvantage against Pacquiao.

Finishing a good run of top rated 135lbers (bar 2nd Diaz fight, still a good performance and a good competitive fight) and cementing his legacy as one of the best fighters of his era. It impressed me immensely.

I really like Marquez, but if he wins all hope of Pac-May goes out the window.

So I'll be cheering on Manny

The photo's been reversed. But apparently getting heavier set as you get older means you're a drugs cheat. Who have thought it? No need for testing, we'll just get Icemax to cast his expert eye at two photos (before and after) and he's sort it out.

According to Flea he has hydrated 20Lbs in the second shot....funilly most of the hydration appears to have gone to his head....so to speak.

I'd love testing, the sport needs it, unfortunately we have a corrupt system where drug cheats like Vit Klit, Toney, Mosley etc are still allowed to make a living. Problem is Pac is frightened of needles (despite his tats) so we won't ever be getting comprehensive testing anytime soon.
