It is hard to go past Tzsyu KOing Judah ! I was in a Hotel in LA about 18 months before the Fight. At Breakfast I ran into Mike Katz and a couple of American Journos . They knew of my Australian connection and asked an Opinion of Tzsyu v Judah. I Promptly told them Tzsyu inside of 5. I explained that he was the best fighters of southpaws I had even seen. SOUTHPAW being the difference. I also gave them some insight into why Tzsyu had change to such a square on fighter since turning Pro. They laughed and said Jab was the next American superstar. Jab Trash Talked Tzsyu and Generally went on like a **** wit and got his mouth shut. How can you get better than that?

 

I was working at the airport at the time of that fight. Laila ali and her boyfriend ( and crew) had jetted in and i was processing them (xraying bags/ customs) We talked about the fight and they were so confident judah was the real deal and would handle tszyu.

Anyway, i told them david sample was here sparring kostya and the bf/ manager knew him from vegas and wanted to catch up. I gave them the gym address. I was doing some training at the gym and watching all kostyas sparring sessions....so there we all were a few hours later, although i was a bit worried the tszyu camp wouldnt like this group intruding on to the gym as they might have thought they were spies for judah. Lol.

Kostya was fine with it all.

Agree, tszyu was great against paws and a great fighter against speed. It never bothered him, his balance and timing was freakish.
