Chopping overhand right by Lumacad. Rios keeps firing the 1-2 and even combos of three and four straight lunges coming forward. Now some body digs by Rios. Lumacad misses his own 1-2 as Rios ducks out. Jab by Lumacad. They circle and stare each other down.

Hard left hooks to the body by Rios. High right jab by Rios. Lumacad backs up and jabs. Several jabs by Lumacad miss. Rios keeps his gloves up and tries to out-maneuver Lumacad circling to the left with hurried steps. Jabs traded back and forth. Hooks to the body with the left and right by Rios. Nice aggression by Rios. Lumacad lands some straight jabs while backing up. Low blow by Lumacad, not seen by Robert Byrd. Rios jabs high at Lumacad's upper scalp, and Lumacad counters with a straight-ahead jab. Right to the body by Rios. Chopping right by Rios misses as Lumacad misses some body shots. Left hook, right hand by Lumacad. Jabs to the head and right hand to the body by Rios. Lumacad waves his upper body from side to side, and keeps jabbing at the moving target. Rios circles and keeps his hands up, darting in and out with jab-feints. Rios blocks a jab. Lumacad throws a wild hook and Rios slides out of the way. Rios runs in with a double jab that misses but sets up a right to the body

Round 5

Rios has switched to southpaw. Lunging lead lefts by Rios. Clinch. Lumacad drops him with the SOUTHPAW KILLER RIGHT HAND!! Rios gets up very late in the count, looking shaky. Lumacad blasts away at him, but Rios hugs him in close. Body shots by both as they stay glued together until Byrd gets his hands in there like spatulas. Thumping rights to the back by Lumacad as Rios presses into him. Rios ducks another right hand and taps the body. Lumacad is a bad finisher. Rios circles left and ducks more right hands. Lunging left hook to the body by Lumacad, just bouncing off the hip bone of Rios. HARD right cross to the chin by Lumacad after missing a jab.
