    Benevidez must be really getting nervous, on the big stage, like he was afraid of. Getting hit by stuff he's got no right being hit by and it looks like his left eye's starting to bother him.

    Benevidez is getting caught alot by a shorter man, I'm hoping this happens only because he doesn't respect Santana's power and isn't a style flaw.

    Benavidez comes forward and trades jabs with the little Puerto Rican. Santana circles left and tries to stay off the ropes, having to reach up high with his jab just to get it level with Benavidez's straight-out jab. Diving body shots by Santana, and Benavidez catches him on the way in with jabs. Benavidez bends to his left and digs a hook to the body. Low blows by Santana diving in. High jabs pushed out by Santana as he circles left, bouncing on his toes and almost getting himself trapped on the ropes. Benavidez misses some lazy jabs and Santana grabs him around the waist. HARD RIGHT HAND KD!! Santana takes the knee until the count of eight. They scrap until the bell!!
