Our sport will never return to the mainstream. Its era is done.

You hear the boos in that stadium?

    You see the uproar?

This is why. One or two fighters FINALLY build enough relevance to be mainstream, and when they get beaten, corruption saves them.

Pacquiao is no different. Great fighter. Lesser man tonight. Paid judges said otherwise.

Any man who can score that 116-112 Pacquiao doesn't know this sport. Period.

And scoring it 115-113 doesn't say good things about your eyes either.

116-112 Marquez. He won the second fight by a point, but I understood. He won this fight by far more. Horrid, horrid robbery.

I swear, when I saw them showing the live round by round of punches being landed, i figured something would be up. Those Compubox scores did not feel right at all.

exactly. watched this fight with several 'casual' fans (who were rooting for pac by the way) and who will certainly have NO CONFIDENCE in pro boxing judges after that.
there's simply no way to look at it and claim it as anything OTHER THAN A ROBBERY for Marquez.
Arum laid all his cards on the table with his talk of 'highest monetary value rematch' or whatever bull**** he was spilling. what a ****ing joke! if this isn't overturned it will damage the sport indefinitely. for ****'s sake.

    Well answer this:

Why did 12000 people BOO THE DECISION?

WHY DID FREDDIE TELL PAC HE NEEDS THE KO? (he didn't get it by the way :patsch)

    WHY DID PAC LOOK DEFEATED?

Marquez owned Pac tonight. Deal with it. The whole world knows.

Primtime was shocked with the result! They were fuming. Even Khan on UK commentary said JMM won!! Notice also at the end of the 12 round pac walks back to his corner shaking his head!

It was clearly a robbery. But HBO has to protect its mega fight. The only way Marquez was gonna win was by knockout.
It was a draw at best. There is no way that the fight was a Majority decision win for Pac.
Draw or Marquez for the win

Legit and valid argument, and honestly I agree with where you're coming from because you're right. I like to argue, and I'll be the one to take the minority position and argue it just for entertainment, but point conceeded.

What I'm saying is that if you are going to job someone this way, for the third time, on account of the money for a future fight...then at least have the sack to make this ****feast somewhat tolerable, by making the fight happen.

    :yep:patsch

Yeah, it makes you wonder why the Pretty One was so afraid that he had to sabotage a fight with a his version of OSDT...:rofl:rofl:rofl

At best Marquez earned a draw and that is if you are a fan of his... otherwise he lost... again...

I had it even going to the championship rounds with Pacquiao winning the 11th and 12th. 115-113 Pacquiao. Jmm should've closed the show.

I thought PAC won, but it was close. For anybody to call this fight a robbery is an idiot and a hater.

Had Juan fought instead of went backwards he just might have won. My impression was he was more worried about a knockdown then winning the fight.

Some people just got another persons number. They could fight numerous more times and it would look similar.

Somebody is being "melodramatic"... I guess there's going to be a shut down in Las Vegas because all the mexicans are going to protest the decision. :nut:smoke
