You're just showing the shots that he landed, what about the ones he received? :hat

If Marquez has no power then Manny should be even more ashamed of his performance. Manny was hesitant all night to engage, when he did stand in front of Marquez and throw combinations all he could hit was air and take flush counter punches.
The only fighter who looked in trouble at any stage was Manny.

We're not scoring the previous fights, regardless of opinions, We're talking about what took place tonight, which i think was the wrong decision.

And I think it was a completely justifiable decision. No one's hiding behind anything, despite what you want to believe.

I'm not hiding behind compubox, it was a draw imo. It was marquez's fight to lose and he did by taking the last 2 rounds off. That's why his bitching about a robbery is so annoying.

If compubox is accurate, then it's round by round stats are a reasonably good indicator of the winner. Clearly, if a fighter lands fewer punches but they are especially hard or effective then punches landed in a round may not be a good indicator or the victor.

I scored the fight for Pac, but have the general impression that JMM was the better fighter tonight. I really think Pac takes most of the close rounds by a hair. Makes me wonder if the real problem is the way fights are scored. If this were one big long fight without rounds, I think even most Pac fans would say JMM won the fight. Additionally, if rounds that are very close are scored 10-10, I think JMM clearly wins. I do think the result was fair given how fights are scored... with Pac just barely winning a larger number of rounds but being greatly outclassed in several decisive rounds that are still scored 10-9.

I can't remember exactly how I scored it, but I believe I had:

Pacquiao: 1,3,4,8,9,10,12 with all being razor close with the exception of one of the rounds (maybe 9?)

Marquez wins the remainder with several decisive and very convincing rounds.

Was it a flagrant robbery? No. Did JMM get jobbed? Yes. As usual, Boxing lets great fights get ruined by crap judges. At 38 and unpopular he could not have taken the title, but JMM is now The People's Champ.

Pac is a complete fraud. I hope you all now see why the FMJ/PAC fight wasn't made. It is exactly like we have been telling you all along. Arum knows the truth.

I thought Tony Thompson was beating Wladimir Klitschko because he was ahead on CompuBox

    :patsch

Really, this is what you have to resort to... After the judges scored fight and declared the winner, compubox isn't good enough for you... What should we just go on YOUR opinion...

Boxing ain't dying... it's just a last desperate and lame attempt for people that can't accept a defeat when they've witnessed one... It's actually sad... :-:)smoke

Alright for everybody who complains about compubox, I will tell you this.

    1. I will always believe compubox over some random, idiot esb poster who thinks they can judge a fight.

    2. I will believe what I see with my own eyes over you or any "random person smashing buttons"

    3. Stop trying to convince esb boards that ppl hired to do their job are worse than your own delusional eyes

Im not complaining about Compubox you ******. Im saying you shouldnt base a fight on it. Regardless, Pacquiao got the decision, but i guess he lost all round because it seems your the minority in your opinion and alot of people are starting to see Bob Arum for what he is. He may of won this fight, but overall in the publics eyes.. he lost.
