watching it i thought jmm won. though i thought it was close anyway and wouldn't be surprised if it ended in a draw or either manny by a point. i'm a big pac fan but i thought manny could have lost there as well. need to watch it again. it's hard when you're expecting a kd every round.

if anything, i think this fight has added more basis to why i think pac would lose to mayweather. i've always thought that was the case but feel more strongly on it now.

It was just my first thought, that now for the first time in 2 years I think there is a chance that Manny-Floyd might happen.

And even that Arum cleverly was talking about Manny- JMM IV next May--all to get FLoyd pissed and wanting to change that now!

Not at all a robbery by any means, but a close fight that should have went the other way, much like the last two fights.

 

this. i have not yet scored it in a per round basis but i can see cries of why marquez didn't win. i was actually expecting decisions of marquez split or majority decision to draw or pac split or majority decision.

but to say that this fight would translate on how pac would handle a floyd fight is trying to simplify a boxing A>B>C and ali should have been murdered by george foreman.

 

90% of the people watching in the bar where i was earlier (somewhere in the philippines) thought that JMM won. Im a big Pac fan but i think that JMM won more rounds and landed cleaner punches (hate to ****in admit it). But!!...I just think that if you have to beat the champ, you have to do it in a VERY CONVINCING manner so that the judges will give you the W, (same with MMA and other combat sports) Also, JMM was backpedalling all night and being very apprehensive. At least he should have KD'd Pac or something so the W would be more convincing. But nonetheless at the end of the night, Pac still wins so deal with it
