It's not clever to judge Pac from his JMM fights

    Styles make fights

What a joke! The only difference is that FMJ is faster, more fluid, has a better straight right, better footwork/balance, longer reach, bigger, etc... Pac gets bent over.

You *******s and Pacfraud have been exposed. Pac is a cherry picking ducking fraud. Then Pac's weak team started steroid rumors. Pac is a complete joke.

No, he gave it his best-go. He's a boxing great (not a great welterweight), but has his deficiencies and flaws that are all too obvious against certain types of fighters. If anything, I'm more proud of Marquez. Don't know how others feel, but that was a SPECIAL performance from him. I am embarrassed about judging in the sport though. It's nothing new, but it doesn't make it any less disgraceful.

Yes, you're right. Pac really did a number on thin air.

I couldn't give a turtle's wink if Pac was coming forward. He ate counters all night and was clearly, CLEARLY outboxed and made to look wild and ordinary at times.

Good points. Yes JMM definitely has solved the Pac conundrum that bigger stronger fighters could not! They made the point that Pac is more predictable and orthodox than before--and they may be right. Or Pac may have slowed or has leg tightness in all his fights now, or see my other posts in this thread.

And if Nacho got him to ease off, that was not wise and like a redux of Oscar-Tito or Winky-Taylor with the last rd or so changing everything.

Sometimes allegory has it, if the scores are not made known at the end of each rd, the judges actually change their cards drastically sometimes if something in the last rd or 2 is different from the early part of the fight.

One fight that supposedly happened was Ali-Frazier I. People do not know that that was not scored via pts. Just a W, L or D for the Rd. And while Frazier's rds were huge, and ALi's-- except for 1 or 2--were squeakers, he actually had won more rds, but the judges supposedly changed their cards after the KD in the 15th.

Again there was no extra pt for that KD, the way it was scored.

I think JMM won a clear decision and I believe FMJ will beat this version of Pac by decision.

it was a close fight but many(myself included) felt marquez deserved the nod.
    Shouts of robbery are stupid.

Why would 2 two writes or Ring magazine score it a draw and a pac win.
Why did yahoo sports call it a Pac win.

They were in the arena too.

Arum didn't pay of the whole of boxing.

I have the same impression initially, after re-watching the replay instead of clouding my judgement based on the high expectation of Pac's performance. Ended up scoring it 115-113 for Pac.
