I saw one with the guys from ESPN latino, Marquez said that he us thinking in retirement because there is no point to keep going if there is no justice for his efforts.
I really agree with his statement. If I was him I would retire too. It was so sad to see him go out like this
It would be sad to see him retire like, but if he feels it's justified, so be it. I can only imagine the frustration, after putting in all those months of work, only to be denied like that.
Yeah Kellerman interviewed him in the locker room where JMM was already naked getting ready to shower. He gave the interview using the sombrero to cover himself. Asked if interested to fight Pac again, he said he doesn't know yet and that he may just retire.
Are you being sarcastic? lol To eat sleep and **** training to beat a guy for a third time, and to get honestly robbed like that..... I'd do more than retire, I'd spend all 2 of the 5 million dollars of my purse to ruin the judges' family lives
Actually, might not be such a bad idea to retire. He's been paid nicely. There's really nobody else for him. He can't beat Floyd. Cotto is out of the question since he's at 154. A win over Khan would be nice but that's like settling for a silver medal when you should've gotten gold by outboxing Pac. He'd need to KO Pac to beat him which is never going to happen. JMM will always be better than Pac in my book (in terms of head to head competition). And I believe many fans feel the same.
makes no sense for jmm to retire. huge fights left for him. rios, maidana, morales, khanbradley, guerero, alexander. all he did was raise his stock tonight and each one of these is at least a 1.5 million payday for him if not more. i think he has a following now.
